2016 Nebraska Football Spring Game

April 16, 2016 - Lincoln, NE. -  On an almost perfect Saturday afternoon, the annual Red-White game was played in front of an announced attendance of 72,992 faithful Cornhusker fans.  Even though the game was scripted both on offense and defense it gave the fans excitement to watch their favorite players battle for depth chart positions.

The game ended on the last play of the fourth quarter when White team freshman defensive back Kyle Kasun, from Papillion, Nebraska, intercepted Red team freshman quarterback Patrick O'Brien's pass.  Because of incentive scoring rules, the White team defeated the Red team 46-41.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers will be in again action on Saturday, September 3rd when they host the Fresno State Bulldogs.
