Creighton 100 St. John's 59

Feb 28, 2016 - Omaha, NE -  St. John's walked in to the CenturyLink Center not expecting to see their head coach and former USA Olympic basketball Dream Team member Chris Mullin get ejected early in the 2nd half and get handed one of their worst defeats of the season, 100-59.

St. John's did not expect Creighton's only two seniors Geoffery Groselle and James Milliken to combine for 41 total points in their last home game as a Bluejay.  Groselle ended the game with a double double 22 points and 11 rebounds and Milliken tallied 19 points respectively.  Creighton improved to 18-11 and 9-7 in Big East while St. John's fell to 8-22 for the season and 1-16 in Big East play.

Creighton ends the season with a two game road trip to Providence and Xavier before Big East tournament action at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
