2016 Sandhill Crane Migration is on in Nebraska

Mar 10, 2016 - Grand Island, NE - On a perfect early spring day in central Nebraska, the spectacular yearly migration of the Sandhill cranes appears to be in full swing.

Thousands of cranes could be witnessed on both sides of Interstate 80 feeding in the corn fields and flying to and from the Platte River.  Photographing these spectacles is rewarding in a special way.

It's no wonder bird watchers from all over the world come to Nebraska to enjoy this special event each year that can be witnessed by the entire family.
